Includes holding lists of archive, library, and museum collections.
Datasets
Includes censuses and other statistical resources as well as geographic information system datasets.
Dictionaries
Includes dictionaries, language dictionaries/translators, thesauri, and gazetteers (place name indexes).
Directories
Contact information for individuals and institutions including e-mail, postal information, telephone listings and resource lists of links to home pages.
Digital Collections
UW Libraries digital collections of photographs, documents, and audio/video resources.
Electronic Books
An ebook is an electronic version of a printed book. Some ebooks require you to set up a personal account in order to view them.
Electronic Journals
Search for online journals.  Use research databases to find journal articles on a particular topic (see Research Databases and Resources by Subject).
Electronic Newspapers
Search for online newspapers. Use newspaper databases to find citations (and sometimes full-text access) to news articles written about a particular topic.
Electronic Texts
Includes electronic texts such as historical letters and diaries, government documents, and technical reports.
Encyclopedias
Use encyclopedias to find background information about your research topic.
Image Collections
Includes image collections, both still and moving images. Also includes aerial and satellite photographs.
