Fund Seeking Workshops

Grants and Funding Information Service offers two types of workshops several times each quarter, so if you can't make one of the dates, keep checking back for future workshops.

• Introduction to Searching covers general principles of searching for funding, print resources, campus resources and the Internet, in a lecture format.
  
• Database Searching covers the intricacies of two funding databases, COS and Grant Select, in a hands-on computer lab experience.
  

It is generally most helpful to attend an Introduction to Searching Workshop and then a Database Searching Workshop, though individuals are encouraged to attend any workshop that fits their individual needs. For more information, please call us at (206)616-3084 or e-mail gfis@u.washington.edu.
