Article Delivery

Frustrating, yes, but there is an answer. For UW students, faculty, and staff (Health Science users should go to HSLIC, Law users to the Law Library), we can request articles from various commercial document suppliers. These articles are often available within a day or two and of very good quality. There is no charge to the user. If the item requested is not available through one of these suppliers, the request can be forwarded to the UW Libraries Interlibrary Borrowing Service which may be able to get the item through other sources.

To request an article, go to :

Article Request Form UW Science Libraries.

The more information you fill in, the more likely you are to get your article. Before you send the request, be sure to select a library from the list of options. There are also forms in each of the science branches you can fill out or if you prefer, just send an email request to chemlib@u.washington.edu. Again, the more information you can provide, the better.

If you have any questions about this service, email to chemlib@u.washington.edu or call 543-1603.
