Art Periodical Indexes and Abstracts Art Abstracts (1984- ) and Art Index Retrospective (1929-1984) Indexes the major visual arts periodicals. Art Index Retrospective covers the years 1929-1984; Art Abstracts 1984 to present, with abstracts beginning in 1995. Search both at once by clicking the appropriate boxes at the top of the search page. Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) (1990- ), International Repertory of the Literature of Art (RILA) (1975-1989), and Repertoire d'Art et d'Archeologie (RAA) (1973-1989). Grove Art Online Over 45,000 signed articles on every aspect of the visual arts from prehistory to the present day. Includes bibliographical citations, art images, and links to images on other art sites. Index of Christian Art An index to artworks produced in the western world from late antiquity up to A.D. 1400.
